Participants explore creative techniques to organize their thoughts, express their individuality, and create personalized journal pages. This workshop is best experienced in person. 2. Awareness Journaling Workshop A guided self-reflection experience designed to help participants explore their thoughts and emotions, recognize recurring thinking patterns, and develop greater self-awareness through structured journaling prompts and reflective exercises. This workshop can be offered online or in person. Our experiences are suitable for beginners, with no previous journaling or artistic experience required. At Design Dream, we believe journaling is more than writing on a page. It is a creative practice that encourages reflection, intentional living, and personal growth.

Sun Threads Sun Threads is a gentle, beginner-friendly introduction to embroidery, where thread and beads come together. It’s a slow, hands-on workshop for anyone who has always wanted to pick up a needle but never knew where to start. You’ll begin with the very basics: preparing your fabric, threading your needle, and making your first stitches with confidence. Step by step, you’ll learn a few essential embroidery stitches, then see how adding beads brings texture, sparkle, and dimension to your design. By the end, you’ll understand how thread and beads work together and how to combine them into something personal and beautiful. No previous experience is needed. Every step is clearly demonstrated and you’re guided personally throughout, so you can work at your own pace without feeling rushed. Groups are kept small so everyone gets the attention they need. What You’ll Learn: How to prepare and handle your fabric Essential embroidery stitches for beginners How to attach and place beads Combining thread and beads for texture and detail Finishing your piece neatly What’s Included: All tools and materials A curated selection of threads and beads Prepared designs to choose from Step-by-step guidance from start to finish You’ll Leave With: A finished embroidered piece made with your own hands The skills and confidence to keep practicing at home A calm, rewarding creative experience Sun Threads is the perfect starting point for your embroidery journey, and a lovely foundation if you’d like to go deeper into bead techniques with Sun Beads afterward.
